RETURN AND EXCHANGE FAQ

1) How do I return/exchange my items?

You may make your returns/exchanges within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date. Here’s how:

In-store Returns & Exchanges

  • Head over to the MS. READ store where you made your original purchase. Kindly bring along your receipt as proof of purchase.
  • Our friendly Retail Associate will inspect your item(s) to ensure they meet the terms and conditions according to our return and exchange policy.
  • Once the requirements are met, you may exchange your items immediately within the store. Any added difference for items of a higher value will need to be paid by the customer. We will not refund or reimburse any cost difference incurred in exchange for items of a lower value.

Online (msreadshop.com) Returns & Exchanges

  • Complete this form.
  • Pack your item(s) and send by mail or courier to:

Remember to include the sales invoice as proof of purchase. Please retain your delivery tracking or barcode number to ensure that your parcel safely arrives at our warehouse.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred during delivery by the mail/courier company of your choice. Please note that in-person return to our warehouse will not be accepted.

  • Alternatively, you may also drop off your parcel at your nearest MS. READ store during operation hours after completing the form. Please note this is a drop-off only, exchange for online purchases cannot be completed in-store.
  • Our customer service team will WhatsApp you a tracking number once your returned items have met the terms and conditions according to our return and exchange policy.

You will receive your requested items after 3-5 working days upon receiving the confirmation via WhatsApp. 

 All shipping fee or delivery costs incurred during the return and exchange process done online will be borne by you, the customer. For further enquiry, please contact our Customer Service team at customerservice@msread.com.my or WhatsApp us at +6017-877 9266 .

2) Can I return/exchange SALE items?

No. Sale of these product categories is final and are NOT eligible for any return or exchange:

• SALE and Clearance items
• Innerwear and accessories
• Consignment items

3) Can I return/exchange items bought during a promotional period?

Returned items bought during a promotional period may be exchanged with other items within the same promotional campaign
(subject to stock availability), as long as they meet the terms and conditions according to our return and exchange policy.

4) What happens if I receive a defected item?

We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused. You may return and exchange the defective item at the same store where your purchase was made, within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date. Please bring your original receipt and the defective item for inspection by our staff.

If the item was purchased online, any delivery charges incurred in the process will be reimbursed as MS. READ Perks points equivalent — once the defect is verified.
